Bersih 3 Suku

Saya sebenarnnya bukan minat politik pun. Simply because there's a lot of people out there who wants to run the country and so I let them do the honour. Walau bagaimanapun, saya tetap mengikuti perkembangan politik; siapa masuk parti mana, siapa tinggal parti mana, siapa tubuhkan parti baru dsb.

Menyampah saya baca. Macam dah takdak social life.

Simply because saya selesa dengan kehidupan sekarang. Saya tak "miss-soru", saya tidak ditindas, I get equal opportunity in terms of career, everyday life etc,. Life has been good. The only time that I was against the government was when they increased the petrol price to RM2.30 per litter. That obviously had affected my pocket money! But of course, that was during the years of Pak Lah whom to my opinion didn't do any good to the country. That's why 5 states went into the the oppositions hands. Readers, this, is strictly my opinion. When Najib took over, I do find that he has made changes, for the better of course. BR1M, Bantuan buku sekolah RM100. So why should I complain? Why should I go against the government. To support a bisexual leader, anti-Islam/Malay leader, would be an 'over my dead body' situation. Till hell freezes over!

To my fellow Muslim brothers and sisters. Please, janganlah menyokong membuta tuli.  Janganlah membangkang semata-mata untuk mambangkang, walaupun untuk perkara yang benar. Fikir masa depan rakyat, anak-anak kita.

Random

Ok so we don't have Madonna or Steve Jobs. Who cares. I still love Malaysia. Politics aside, the country, the cultures, the multiracial, I'm happy and I've nothing to complain. except for the hot weather.

Just slightly after the CNY, the nearest we got to a lion dance was at Carrefour. Both Imran and Rayyan was terrified with the loudness of the music. I tried to divert their attention to the 'lion'. So that they know the different cultures we have in our country.

Today, I brought Imran to see his pediatrician for his 2nd pnemococcal vaccination. Boy, this boy can really cry. But just seconds after the jab, he became a happy boy. How brilliant can the pediatrician be? Memandangkan susu yang dijual adalah pada harga yang amat sangat berpatutan di klinik pediatrician tu, we only buy from her. Gambar budak lepas kena cucuk memeluk tin susu. I love you Imran!

Ini gambar anak teruna sulung saya. Senyum simpul... I love you abang! Remember, mama tak nak abang terlompat-lompat macam boboiboy ok? Itu kartun, awak bukan kartun.

The trip to Zoo Melaka

It was a carry forward public holiday in conjunction with Maulidur Rasul. We took the opportunity to visit Zoo Melaka. Rayyan had numerously requested to go to the Zoo. The last excuse we gave him was "wait till Imran can walk, then we can all go". Now that Imran could walk, we made our way to the Zoo. Why Zoo Melaka? My colleagues said its way better than the Ulu Klang's. So around 10.45am, we left home.

It took us slightly more than an hour to arrive Zoo Melaka. The kids fell asleep during the journey. Good I thought. They could "recharge energy". We arrived during "matahari terpacak atas kepala". OwhMaiGawd. It was so hot, I was worried that the boys might get sick, considering Rayyan just got well from his fever. Tanpa rasa segan silu, I ran and pushed Imran's stroller towards the entrance.

We were greeted by "Rio"..

Then there was mr. stripe...

Both papa and Rayyan took a short horse ride..

Pak Belang pun ada. I was shocked to see how they kept the tigers, open and free. Imagine kalau dia melompat dan membaham...

Then there was orangutan bergayuting sesama sendiri..

And there were many many more animals and birds and reptiles and cows and elephants and crocodiles and deers and monkeys and tapirs and squirels. Rayyan had the bestest time there. Discovered a new part of him; curious and braver.

We were at the Zoo for almost 3 hours. We then headed to Melaka town to get late lunch. On the way back, we dropped by Nilai 3 just to window shop. End up buying a couple of t-shirts for the boys and a set of "Cars" toys for who else but the crazy Cars boy, Rayyan. Imran was too grumpy to pick a toy and end up not getting any. Next visit perhaps.

Kota Keriangan

Instead of "Genting" I prefer to call it Kota Keriangan.

It was Hari Wilayah holiday. I took the opportunity to take the boys to KK. We left home just before 11 am. Took our own sweet time driving up there. Looking for parking drove us crazy. But alhamdulillah, a car was just about to leave that we took over the space. The best part was, it's just 2 minutes walk to the main entrance of the theme park. I got the voucher card from my colleague, Kak Sakdiah, a sweet kakak from Secretarial Unit. So we got the family package tickets for free. Yey!

We took part in almost all the outdoor rides, except the Solero Shot and the paddle boat ride. We also took some of the indoor rides without knowing that it has to be paid separately. Whoops!

We started with the tea cup ride..

Then the space shuttle ride..

And the merry-go-round of course..

Doraemon made a special appearance..(not that we are fans)..

There's  loads more rides we took. It was indeed a splendid day in Kota Keriangan. I decided not to stay the night after a couple of spooky eerie story I heard from my friends about staying the night at the hotel rooms there.

Sekian laporan pada minggu ini. Till then!

Next week post: Fun at Zoo Melaka.

How we spent the new year holiday - 2 January 2012

For some unknown reason, my husband agreed to take the bunch of us to Taman Tasik Titiwangsa (TTT). Back in 2002, I was a regular there, especially in the evening. I jog. Yep, those days when I was weight conscious. I would usually jog for at least 3 km, do 200 sit ups and feed the fish at the lake to wind down the day.

Today, TTT is still a lovely place to go. My husband and Rayyan took the paddle boat ride.

Aikk... tengah buat apa tu Abang? No...

I found a beautiful scene here. Sangat menyenangkan, menenangkan. Am proud to have such beautiful lake such as this here in Malaysia.

Lovely...

I've always wanted to expose Rayyan into a more lasak lifestyle. For a start, his papa took him for the boat ride. He enjoyed himself very much. Am glad. It was a bright sunny day. But he's too young to complain how hot the day was.

After the boat ride, we headed to the playground. The admin office of TTT had refurbished, upgraded it. Thankful for that. Didn't snap any pics as I was so busy handling them. Ayo, Imran was so lasak, he must be attended all the time. Rayyan was surprisingly much braver now to take the high ladders, go down the long and winding tunnel slide. Alhmadulillah. I thank Allah for all the things He has granted us.

That was our little family's way to spend quality time together.
