I created this layout for my Scrapclub gals this month.  I hope everyone has a happy and safe New Year!  I love the Noteable Alphabet stamp set...its hard to not want to use for the title on all my pages lately.

Simple Birthday...

Today I am sharing a a simple birthday card with you.  This is a great card layout, especially if you have scraps of dsp that you don't want to throw out but aren't sure what to do with.  The dsp squares are 1.5x1.5!  I used my corner rounder punch on two of the four sides to give the dsp some interest.  Super easy!  The sentiment is from the Best Dad Ever stamp set.

Days to Remember Calendar: February...

Here is the layout for February I created for my calendar to the in-laws.  I used the Hearts Collection Framelits Dies for the BIG Shot to cut out the hearts in various places on my dsp.  So simple and I loved how it turned out.  

Rudolf Ornament...

One of the gifts I made for my kids' teacher's was this fun Rudolf Ornament.  I cut 6x4 pieces of Dsp and sealed them shut with sticky strip after I had the kids fill them with some chocolates.  Super easy and a fun way to give a little treat to show our appreciation.

Here is the last double page layout I created for my Scrapclub this month using the Merry Moments Simply Scrappin' Kit.  I can't wait to get my pictures on them.  

Homemade Chocolate Chip Pancakes and the Free Download...

This year I decided I wanted to make homemade pancake mix and attach a pancake mold to it for my Christmas Gifts to some of my friends.  When I saw these "Even Naughty People Deserve Something Nice" tags on My Digital Studio, and then saw that they were FREE, I knew just what to do with them.  I love how my gifts turned out and I can't wait to give them away.  I made 20 of these!  That sounds like a lot of work and it was, but I consider it a labor of love.  To create the tag I just downloaded the image from HERE and copied 6 to a page in my MDS 2 software, and printed them out right from my home computer onto Gumball Green and Cherry Cobbler CS, cut them out and attached them to my pancake mixes.  Voila!  I love MDS!

Joyous Celebrations Ornaments Tutorial...

Did anyone ever notice the other ornament in the Holiday Catalog?  Check out pg. 7!  It is a lot simpler than the gorgeous ornament on the front of the catalog, but just as cute I think.  So instead of spending all my time on making a few of the cover ornaments, I decided I would crank out 35 of the ornaments from pg. 7.

1. Cut a strip of Tulle Ribbon, mine are about 6-8 in.

2.  Gather the ribbon up the middle between both finger and thumb

 3. Place a drop of hot glue onto the Silicone Mat (my new favorite crafting tool)

 4. Place gathered tulle over the drop of hot glue and form the way you want.  I wanted mine to look like a poinsettia.  

 5. Let the hot glue set and as you can see in a matter of seconds you can lift the mat and the tulle is stuck right to the silicone mat. 

 6.  Peel the tulle off from the silicone mat...easy peezy lemon squeezy!  Honestly!

7. Stamp the Joy and framed image and punch out with XL Oval Punch

 8.  Using your hot glue gun assemble all the pieces (Silver Glimmer snowflake, tulle piece, and stamped piece) together.

 9.  Hot glue the linen thread and Very Vanilla CS circle to the back of the ornament to create a clean and finished look.

 10.  Voila!  Hang your homemade ornament on your tree!

25 Days and Counting Advent Calendar...

I made this Advent Calendar a couple of weeks ago and hung them across my mantel today just in time for the 1st tomorrow .  I used the Kraft Boxes (#124106), Be of Good Cheer Designer Series Paper (#126896), and the 25 and Counting Stamp Set (#123794) to complete the bulk of this project, along with some other embellishments and ribbons.   I used Cherry Cobbler Baker's Twine (#123125) to string them across my mantel.  The boxes are filled with activities and treats, etc. for each day.  I hope my kids enjoy our very simple but fun countdown this year!  Happy December everyone!

Festival of Prints Layout...

Here is another layout I created for my Scrapclub this month.  I ordered the Festival of Prints Designer Paper Stack(#126904) not really knowing what I wanted to create with the 48 sheets of paper.  I ended up using the variety of paper to create the different trees along the bottom of this layout, and I love how it turned out..a clean and simple Christmas layout.   I also used the new Noteable Alphabet(#126357) stamp set to create the label.
