Avery is walking!

Avery wanted nothing to do with walking, she would only take one or two steps, and it was only to me. Then she woke up Monday morning and decided she was going to walk everywhere, and she has not stopped. We are having so much fun watching her grow and become independent. She gets so excited and gives us the best smile when we applaud her for doing so good. We love raising these four special little kids.

We had a family reunion this last weekend, and while my children had plenty to do, this was all they wanted to do. They rode horses all day, all by themselves, well the two big ones anyway. The babies rode with us, and while Riley giggled when the horse trotted Avery didn't even crack a smile and the horse had not even moved. Instead she threw a little bit of a fit. We had a fun day, and man my kids are good little riders!

Avery had so much fun opening all her presents with her cousins. I just wanted to take a moment to tell you the things I love about her right now. She loves her momma, she is a mamma's girl, which at times can be hard, but I wouldn't have it any other way. I love that her two bottom teeth came in and then only one of her fangs, she has the greatest smile right now. I love the way she dances whenever she hears music. I love that she will still snuggle with me, sometimes! I love that she usually will only take steps to me, and on occasion her daddy! I love her laugh, and her beautiful eyes. I love when people say,"who does she look like?", because, she looks like me (finally). I love that she is my baby, and I love her!

Avery turned one year old last Tuesday July 29th and I can't believe it. She truly has grown up way too fast for us. She has been so much fun this past year, and we are so blessed to have her join our family. Then there is Leah, it is a sad day when your baby is old enough to drive the go cart by herself.WOW!
