Some more of our April

Holland decided to empty out her toy box and climb in.

One of my awesome Mia Maids turned 16 and moved up to Laurels so she made me this yummy bouquet of dum dums.  My kids were in sucker heaven for weeks:)
Holland's hair is growing!! She finally has enough to put a little pony in.

My Noah loves to climb the poles to the Lewis' Batting cage.  He would ask me every day if we could go to the lewis' so he could touch the gold.

One night we found Pres in our bed in this crazy position.  You can't really tell by the picture but she was pretty much sleeping on her bent knee.

Date Day!!!

Presleigh learned how to ride her bike without training wheels a little while back.  She learned so quick it was unbelievable.  She is a little too big for her bike so we have been looking on craigslist for a bigger one.

And of course because Presleigh learned how Noah was also determined to figure it out.  It took him a little bit longer but eventually Noah got it down too.  They are so excited to be able to ride their bikes without training wheels. We have been spending a lot of time outside riding bicycles these days.

Holland also likes to ride.  She loves to be pushed around on the scooter.  She makes a weeeeeeeeeeee noise as she rides around.

Another Update Via My Instagram

Holland loves to be outside.  Whenever Presleigh and Noah go outside Holland points at the door and whimpers like a puppy until I let her go outside.  It's pretty fun to watch her play in the dirt and walk around on the patio taking care of her business.

We have been working on our backyard a little.  I took this picture after Wayne spent the day power washing our fence so that we could stain it.  He started off with a scrub brush and bucket of soapy water and had planned on scrubbing the whole fence because he didn't want to rent a pressure washer.  Our back neighbor saw him working so hard that he offered to let us borrow his pressure washer.  It saved us a ton of time.

Noah offered to push Holland on her swing which she loves now.  I watched him from the window spit on her hair and then start trying to spike it.  So nice of him to fix his sister's hair so pretty.

I signed Presleigh up for soccer.  I started registering Noah too but then decided he was too young.  Well the association got confused and ended up putting Noah on Presleigh's team roster.  Their coach showed up and gave them both uniforms and they were so excited.  I was all confused because we hadn't paid for Noah so I talked with the association and they had us give Noah's uniform back to the coach.  He didn't really understand what happened but because Presleigh's team only has 3 players her coach lets Noah sub in when one of the kids need a break.  So technically they both go to the practices and games but only one of them gets to wear the uniform.  It's been hit or miss on their attitude for playing.  Somedays they are excited and other days they don't want to show up.  I think we'll be taking a couple years off before we try again.

Like always Holland finds something to climb.  This time it was the slide and she was so proud of herself when she got to the top.  She would stand up and let go and I was freaked out that she would fall backwards.  Now she usually just sits at the top and watches the kids play but every once in a while Noah will give her a little nudge down.  It doesn't stop her though from getting right back up and sitting on top of the slide.

My friend was able to get us a great deal on blueberries and strawberries.  These are the two fruits we probably eat the most of so it was perfect.  I made some jam but froze most of the fruit to put in out oatmeal and to make smoothies with.

Noah is also a climber these days.  He loves to climb any pole that he can.  He will even climb the doorways in our house.  He loves to pull himself up on the ledge of the fireplace too.  He has some crazy strength in his arms and legs.  I want to get this boy into some gymnastics.

Holland is finally able to get up on the fireplace.  She was very proud that she was able to climb up but also loves to tease  me by walking around on it.

Here she is all ready to play in her first game.  It was freezing cold this day but it didn't stop her.  She was very excited.

Presleigh came downstairs from getting herself dressed and said, "Look Mom, I'm all stripes."

She wanted to watch the kids playing outside.

Once again climbing on the stool.

We scored at Costco this day.  They were handing out creamies for samples.

This is Noah's favorite pole to climb.  It's a pole in the Lewis' backyard that is part of their batting cage.  He says that he wants to touch the gold (with is the little T piece that holds the poles together) He will even talk about climbing this pole when we aren't over there and he will ask me if we can go to the Lewis' so he can "touch the gold."  It's pretty awesome to watch him do it.  Love my little monkey!

Easter 2013

We were so lucky this year to have my Sister's family come visit us for Easter. We were able to take the kids to a couple egg hunts which they loved.  The weather was beautiful over the weekend so we spent a lot of time outside.  Wayne and Ethan played a lot of horse and the girls played volleyball.   The little ones were on the swing set a ton and had sooooo much fun together.  We are very grateful that they came to visit us.

Holland took a little while to warm up to Josh.  This is the face she would make when he would get close.  By the end of their visit she was a little better.

After we got our kiddos to sleep us grown ups would hang out.  We were up late every night talking.

Holland had so much fun at her first egg hunt.  I couldn't believe that she actually  wanted to pick up the eggs.

She was so proud of herself for getting the eggs:)

During our neighborhood egg hunt Presleigh was so good at finding eggs.  She ran as fast as she could to get all the eggs that she could.

Noah was not in the mood to get eggs during our neighborhood hunt.  He was trying to avoid  this picture too.  His cousin was super nice though and gave him his special prize from the hunt because Noah didn't get any eggs.

We dyed eggs together.  The kiddos favorite part!!

Family Easter Picture

The kiddos all cute and ready for church.

Update Via Instagram

Every time Noah touches Holland she is suspicious that he is going to do something to hurt her.  He is super rough with her. He knows what he's doing because he usually pushes her or hits her when i'm looking away.  She doesn't really even like him close to her and gets nervous when he's around.  She has actually started pushing him away from her if he gets too close.

This girl loves to climb the stairs and is now climbing the gate too.

Loves from Daddy!!

I absolutely love the packaging of this baby food.  Holland can feed herself which is so nice.  Holland loves baby food!

Presleigh had an early morning check up with the Dentist.  I always thought that she would have good teeth because they took so long to come in but this girl ended up having 8 cavities.  OUCH!! She was such a trooper getting her fillings.  The Dr did them all in one sitting and she was so good.  She was very excited to get to pick something from the treasure box and because she was so good she got to pick 2 things.

Holland loves to drive the cart at Fred Meyer

Holland always tries to get the Kindle away from the kids.  She was excited to find it sitting all alone so she kept swiping her finger over the screen like she knew what she was doing.

Holland got a swing for her birthday.  She wasn't a very big fan though.

Eating her birthday cupcake.

Noah randomly fell asleep at the top of the stairs.

I told Presleigh to go get her jammies on and this is what she came back with.  She said that she was all out of jammies so she wanted to wear this.  She is obsessed with skirts and dresses.

Holland at the doctor's office for her 1 year check up

Holland weighed in at 18lbs 1oz (10%) she was 27 3/4 inches (10%) and her head was 44 cm (25%)
She is our little petite girly... our smallest baby so far and I love it.  She also has no teeth so it's almost like she's  only 8 months still.  I've always said that I wish my babies would stay little longer... Holland has made that wish come true ;)

Wacky Wild Day at preschool

Presleigh knew exactly what she wanted to wear for their wacky wild day.  She thought her witch costume would be perfect since the letter of the day was W.

Out at dinner I noticed that Presleigh and I were in coordinating clothes.  I guess I was in a yellow coral mood that day:)

We have a toy problem at our house.  We have a play room but it's always a disaster so the kids don't ever want to play in there.  I decided that we needed to organize our toys a little better so I put them all in tubs and put them all in a closet that I am planning being able to lock. I like that my kids can put the toys away  because they know which tub they go in and each toy has a place.  Wayne would prefer to just get rid of all the toys.

Holland and I both like to put our feet up.  I do this same move while I'm driving.

Wayne detailed our van.  It took him all day but holy moly it was beautiful.

Presleigh's favorite thing to do with Holland.

I took Noah to the store looking a little homeless.  He had put practically a whole bottle of mousse in his hair.  He has  candy cane all over his face.  His superman shirt has a cape on it.  Shin guards over his jeans. and his shoes were on the wrong feet.  It was just one of those days:)

My little climber decided to climb the stool and draw a picture on the counter.  She thinks she's a big girl.
