Emma, at 8 months:
- you still just the two little teeth on the bottom
- you wake up once a night to nurse, usually sleeping around 10-11 hours total
- you are starting to army scoot around
Emma, at 9 months:
- you are such a smiley baby, and we can’t get enough of you sweet smile!
- you LOVE your blanket, especially the crocheted edges. You are in your happy place with a binky in your mouth and your little fingers rubbing the edges of your little turtle blanket.
- weight (fully clothed while getting flu shots): 17lbs 0oz
- you’re a good eater (so nice to have one of those in the house again). You pretty much out-eat your older sister at every meal
- you also love to bite it
Emma, at 10 months:
- those bright blue eyes catch everyone’s attention
- you are an army scooting expert and can get pretty much anywhere you want – even up the stairs
- we’re still working coming back down the stairs. Luckily you’ve only fallen down a couple steps a few times.
- you don’t like wearing headbands- it was quite a miracle that you left it on long enough for me to take these pictures
- you made your first sign – “all done” – I was one proud Momma
- you love your sister (most of the time). You get frustrated when she tries to force you to do things
….and she’s off…
Emma, at 11 months:
- we were in Utah for your 11 month-day so my talented brother, Corey took our family pictures.
- you have two more teeth! Two on the top, to make a total of 4. And you haven’t been sleeping well so we think there’s probably more on the way.
- you’re crawling!!
- you like to pull yourself up to standing every chance you get
We can’t imagine our home without our sweet little peanut!!
