There’s a time of day when the sun is close to setting and it casts a glow on the world. This is called the golden hour. I’m not as good as I’d like to be at capturing it (or thinking ahead and making sure ugly orange construction cones aren’t in the picture!) But I think these were a pretty good attempt. Late Night Calls
When asked who she was talking to at all hours of the night, she replied, “Ma – n – Pa.”
She sure does love her Grandma and Grandpa.
Memorial Day
Memorial Day started with lunch at a local cafĂ©. We’ve been to this one a few times and really like it.
Lily loved playing in the fountain on the way back to the car.
That evening we went to City Park where they have 25 cent kiddie rides.
There is also a really fun little train.
Waiting in line for the train.
Hi MOM!!!
Purple Cotton-Candy Tongue!
Hey don’t forget about me, I was there too :)
We sure do LOVE holidays together.
