Just when I thought Harley couldn't get any bigger, she does. If you have held her recently you know what I am talking about, she acts too old. She will stand for you, Smile, hold her head and can almost roll over... really at 6 weeks?

No Christmas Season is...

Complete without Madame B.
I don't know about you, but The Nutcracker is a must during this time of the year. If you haven't seen it, go. And if you don't like the ballet, you will be pleasantly surprised. Not only is the music fantastic but, the story is great.
My Mom was Madame B, and Mataya was a Page. So Cute!!!

O' Christmas Tree
Has anyone ever read the children's book "Why Christmas Trees Aren't Perfect"? If in fact you have then you will be able to relate to our "Small Pine". Austin saw a great deal on Christmas Trees down in the Provo area, $15.00 a tree! Now I'm not sure if you've purchased a tree in the SL Valley lately but there aren't any for 15bucks, I promise.
After Austin got there he called and told me all the trees were as we like to say "Skinny Linny's". I said it was no problem I like the tall, skinny, sporadic looking trees. Well, this is exactly what I got. This tree looks as if the man selling them cut down a 100 foot tree and sold us a long branch. Reguardless, I love it! And it smells fantastic in my home.

Time Flies
Can I just restate the fact that time goes too fast?

We've done a lot in the past four weeks. Besides sneaking Harley into Harry Potter when she was 3 days old, and waking up as a human zombie every two hours to feed our baby. I believe it is all paying off, not only did she weigh in at 8.6lbs and 21 1/2 inches last week, but her cheeks are even squishier. Yes, Mea and Kait this an open invite to come squash. I love every minute of being a mother, except that our little one is only getting older.

True...
My baby counter does say 0 days to GO, but this cute little baby is going to make us all wait at least another week.

Fall..
Football, Canning, sweaters, leaves, soup... I love it all.
Now, canning is totally new for me this year, along with baby food. I absolutely loved it! I think my favorite part is what all the food looks like in the clear jars after ward. Thanks to a lot of help from neighbors, family and friends on my adventure.
Some things I canned:
-tomato sauce
-peaches
-pears
-pickles
-chili
Baby foods:
-peaches, pears, apples, bananas in any combination or by it's self
-sweet potatoes
-yams
-buttercup squash

Mother in Laws ...
Are amazing. Let me start by saying this, my daughter's room as planned got painted yellow. Not because I did it, but because Austin started and ran out of time. I had planned to finish the task on my own. And to my surprise I came home to fresh yellow paint (3 coats worth may I add) And even nicely re covered base boards. I mean, yes I am pregnant but really I am fully capable of rolling paint on a wall. Secondly, The fabric took ages to figure out, I couldn't decide which I liked. I knew one thing I liked yellow and blue. And I could only one I liked, and none to go with it. Of course in all her Becky fashion she found two that I liked. One for my rocker (which she also surprised me with, another story all together) And the other for the crib skirt. I have told her multiple times how I wanted to learn and watch her make the bumper pads, rocker pad, drapes etc. Does she listen? To no one's surprise she didn't. I came home tonight and as I always do I opened the door to the room just to get excited, and found all but the drapes complete. How do I deserve such a loving mother? I honestly am so overwhelmed and feel so loved. And slightly mad that I was once again tricked and not allowed to help, so much in fact I may request my house key... ;)

Bump De Bump
Proof that I am in the 7th month, or 29 weeks rather...
1. If you exam this glamor shot closely you will notice a double chin.
2. Elastic Waist Band... oh, ya.
3. It looks like something is growing.
4. I go to the bathroom expecting to pee a Nick Style 64oz er, but instead barley manage to hear what comes out.
5. My pelvic region is more sore than I thought possible, besides I haven't even done any intense work out...
6. I have to sleep on my side, now I normally have always slept on my side in the past. So, I never thought this would bother me... but all I can think about all night is laying on my back.
7. I look pretty funny going up stairs, getting out of a comfy couch, or putting pants on.
8. I still have an inny, no matter how often Austin tries to coax it to be an outy... I'm really hoping it stays in.
9. My ribs are a new favorite stopping ground for this 2 lb child.
10. Every time I look in our baby's room I get goose bumps, not only for excitement but the reality that I'm no where near ready.
Summer Stuff
This summer has flown by, not only because life has changed so much but I honestly believe summer just goes WAY faster than winter ever will.
Here are some pics from Lake Powell, Corn, Random.
(Thankfully Austin got me a new digital camera for my birthday, and I must say it has been great!)
Ps sorry there are no action shots of me... ha ha

It's strange to think I have reached something that really seems insurmountable, I'm 28 weeks along. Where did all the time go? Before I know it this sweet little girl will be here.
Can't wait.
Sorry I have no belly pics, Maybe this weekend. Austin is working out of town pretty much all week, every week. And Stella isn't as good with the camera.

Happy and Healthy
Congratulations to the 36%, we are having a baby girl... AND CAN'T WAIT.
Honestly, I can't believe how quickly time goes. I can't believe I'm already at 20 weeks. I wish it could slow down, I love every minute. Waking up to her tiny kicks, and bumps, having to wake up more than once to hit up the local restroom, getting grossed out by the smell of Wal Mart's fried chicken. I think I love the bad as much as the good, the daily reminder of this baby's presence is just cool.
I'll post some pics when Austin gets back from Idaho, and maybe when something actually shows up there. Anyway, we really don't have a big list of girls names any ideas?

Dancing is Beautiful

One day I received a phone call from my mother informing me she was going to be in Cinderella! And she was the queen. Now, my mom is an amazing ballerina and probably hasn't put a pair of slippers on since I was ten, but she just went and tried out on a whim, and got a part.
How cool is it that my 44 year old mother can just put a pair of slippers on and compete, with all of these 20 year olds? Very impressive I must say.
Good job mom! Great performance!

Okay, okay
Ya, know since no one chose to comment on my fabulous playoffs post, here's something you all may want an update on, and I'll keep my playoff ideals to my sports radio buddies.
A bump update:
I find it absolutely amazing to notice a change in my body on a daily basis, I really had no idea how beautiful it would be to carry a child, nor did I expect to love this small "parasite" (as my boss calls it, every time I have a brain cramp or have to haul off to the restroom for my "rituals") honestly what a blessing it is for me and Austin to have this opportunity.

NBA Playoffs Are Finally Here

So, I love basketball and basically any sport. When it comes to playoffs you usually expect to see things you never saw all year. This is why playoffs are the bomb, you actually watch Kyle Korver move his feet on defense and a take a charge, and you watch Carmello get elbowed in the face with no foul called. I love it, real hard nosed basketball.
Is it just me? Or does it seem the strategy this year is play SLOW, I mean for the Cavs to only be scoring right around 100 points... really? Where is the energy I love to watch? I usually never miss a playoff game, but it seems almost boring to watch. I only have seen glimmers of it here and there, and maybe this is the real reason why I am a Jazz fan in the first place, they almost always play this way, "old school" and hard nosed, and have always left my satisfied win or lose because they play with heart.
So really is it just me? Or do the other teams need to actually play like they've got something to play for?
Tell me your thoughts, I really want to know if my expectations are just to high.

Yes, It Is a Bit Sad
... That I didn't take one single picture of Austin's surprise party...
But, thanks to all who came and gave him such a fun Bday, He was really surprised even though he said he wasn't and loved seeing you all there.
Direct quotes from the night:
" Wow, I've never had a party like this. " and "I can't believe this many people came for me."

I do love my smart phone, but the other day when I was standing at the grocery store, the two people in front of me were on their phones, and the three people behind me were. I was the only one who actually had a short conversation with the clerk. I now am making it a goal, to be on my phone when I am NOT in the grocery line.

Sorry, I just found this old post for ages ago. So, I dusted it off cause Austin is so cool.
You know, it's really funny how you can love someone more than you already do. All growing up I had a "Sunday Dinner" and Grandma DeLaMare's with usually at least 30 people attending, not to mention she always had table cloths, her nice china, roast, hand mashed potatoes, and homemade rolls to accompany. After she passed away it was a hard adjustment for me not to see DeLaMares and family on a weekly basis, but good things always come with change.
I can not even express how cool Austin is, he actually has learned my dad's hand mashed potatoes technique, perfected his roast beef recipe and makes some of the best rolls as of late. He has stated "we're trying to keep the tradition alive" and even though our TINY condo is maxed out with four guests, lately we have been squeezing between 5-10 people in here for dinner. I know it's no 30 people but, honestly I am telling everyone this for two reasons, one to tell Austin I love him (yes, I have to be WAY cheesy sometimes) and how much it means to me that he would make Sunday Dinner as important to those around us as it always has been in my life. And two, to see who is coming over next?
Here is proof we're doing it right:
Love ya Gma Del
