Pink Antler Table Setting

For a dinner party I used pink antlers, potted paperwhites, candles & moss.
Just had to paint the pots white.

Velvet pumpkins as a place card holder with my son's name on it.
Peeking out is the Pierre Frey fabric on the chairs.

Love the numbers on the napkins!

Velvet pumpkins!

Adore the potted paperwhites!

The paperwhites stand at attention.

Beautiful blossoms!
They last for at least a week.

The smell from these paperwhites are wonderful!

Wonderful pink Lucite antlers, candles & moss.

With candles lit, the table looks divine, if I must say so.

Here you get a good look at the napkins with the embroidered numbers on them.
I adore this table setting!
Tell me what you think of it, dear readers
I value all of your comments.
Till we meet again...

Love,

Peggy

10 Things I Adore

This is a list of 10 things I adore. Of course, there are lots more that are not listed here!

1. Rigaud Candles

This candle says yes! to me, my favorite smell is Cypres!
It was Jackie O's favorite, what is good enough for Jackie is good enough for me.
It isn't cheap but they last a (really) long time.

2. Antlers

I adore antlers with earrings on them - Antlers are the best!

3. Chinese Jackets

I wear Chinese Jackets at the drop of a hat!
I love to go to China Town (any where) to look for wonderful items!

 4. John Saladino

Villa is one of his books. He just is the most wonderful designer ever-I think.

5. Monograms

I am Southern, and so proud of it!
Everything I had was monogrammed when I was growing up.
Friends tell me "you will monogram it, if it stands still long enough!" and that is so true.
I like vintage monograms that are not my initials, I don't care!

6. London, UK

I love London!
Thank god, I have clients that hire me to redo their houses there.

Picture of me.

 7. Fireplaces

Love real fires in them. They look so cozy and inviting!

8. Jean Patou "1000"

This is my favorite perfume! It smells heavenly!

9. Lilies

These Lilies will last for days(remember to take those stamens off)
plus they smell divine.

10. Hand written notes / Thank you cards

I love to receive thank you cards but I really love to send them via snail mail.
They mean something so special to me.

So now you know things I love -

Tell me dear readers what you love!
I am wanting to know.

Thank you for stopping by my blog. Stay warm and have a wonderful weekend!

Love,

Peggy

Guess what came in the mail?

And guess what? I won! Can you believe it?
I won a pale pink acrylic antler & 6 white velvet pumpkins.

I used the pumpkins as place card holders, as Joni from Cote De Texas suggested.

Aren't the pumpkins great looking?
Gardner is my son's name

All ready to eat.
Lights, camera, action!
After all guys, I do live in Los Angeles!

Here is a great picture of the pink antler!

You've heard me say before, every one looks good in candle light.

The antler looks great on the fireplace mantel!

 I WON-I can't believe it!!!!

Thanks to Joni, Chris Ann & Kristin from LoveFeast Shop!

I went to the LoveFeast Shop's website and they have fabulous items.
You still have a few more days to shop till Christmas!
 Check out their website here.

Peggy

2 Table Settings for the Holidays

Blue & White

These ladies are my favorite candle sticks.
They were given to me on a birthday.
I have never seen others like them.
Look!
Don't they have the sweetest faces.

I used these lovely wine bottle jackets as a napkin holder.
You can use anything you have.

Tiny gifts!
Always a sure bet + an ice breaker at each person's plate.

Salt and pepper at each place.

You don't have to have flowers!
I often use greenery from around my home.
Anything that will hold water can be used as a vase/container.

Candlelight flatters everyone!

Chinese baby shoes were also a gift to me.
I adore them.

I love to use different glasses on the table.
Always have red & white wine + red & white glasses on the table.
You can never guess what someone prefers.

Blue & White

Another setting for a dinner party using antlers.

Grandmother, Ruby, made this tablecloth.
It is so beautiful.  Aren't I lucky?

I like to mix china pieces & silver together.

I keep a bag of moss handy for those times when I need something.

Candle light never fails to make one look divine.

Those antlers are a treasure.

The BIG napkins have monogrammed numbers!

Look at the puppets that hang in my dining room. That's for another post...

And above it all, a chandelier brings light.
You bring the love & joy!

Happy table settings, dear readers!

Just remember,
make it simple and be the wonderfully creative beings you all are.
Others will adore you for it.

Love,

Peggy
