Happy Easter!

Making a Carrot Cake mmmm....

Dance party... for Zoe, Quinn just awkwardly bobs.

Easter Bunny almost didn't make it today. We had to do a midnight run to Walmart (I know...Walmart... don't tell anyone, we are Target people! Except Target isn't open 24 hours). It's not that we didn't remember, we have just been soooo busy with the new house. We spent ALL day painting kitchen cabinets yesterday.
Before:

After: We love it!

The poor kids were troopers. A saint (Sarah Wilson) offered to watch the girls in the afternoon, and the rest of the time they spent watching movies on our laptop. We painted until about 11:30pm last night. This is how we found them when we finally were ready to head out.

Jealous?

Lately, I have been a bit obsessed with zebra print. I'm not sure why. Poor Aaron, I've been trying to slip it in anywhere I can with the new house. So, Aaron for my birthday this past week surprised me with unimaginable... literally. This was not on my birthday list. I had no idea this even existed.

Apparently Snuggie (yep, that's right, I'm talking about that annoying informerical about the blanket with sleeves) is starting to incorporate animal print. For the record, Aaron did not spend any $$$ on this gift. He actually hates the Snuggie, so of course I wear it as much as I can.

There are just so many uses for the Snuggie!

Here are a few of them:

Using a free hand for the remote...

Reading with the LCD booklight...

Snuggling a baby...

And last but not least... area rug...

I know you all jealous of my zebra print Snuggie!

Crazy Busy

We are still around! Believe it or not? We closed on our house and have been busy bees trying to get everything ready. We will not be moving until the end of the month, there is still a lot of work to be done... if anyone wants to lend a hand (hint hint).

We also had Aaron's Dad in town for a few days. It's aways a nice when family comes, but of course we put him to work. Thanks for braving the grease traps on the range, Bruce. You're a trooper! Zoe didn't leave Papa alone for a minute. He had to ride in the back seat next to Zoe's booster every time we went somewhere.

Here are a few pictures.

The girls playing while we did some work on the house.

A not-so-happy family photo. The girls were not loving life. We had been at the house too long.

I like this picture of the men trying to move this nasty old oven. Zoe looks mischievous, like she is going to do something to Aaron's bum.

Twice in one month!

This happened awhile ago, but I wanted to post the pictures so everyone knows we truly are Minnesotans. Aaron was proud of his patch job. A snowplow took out our mailbox twice in one month. The second time it was completely decapitated. The city said to fix it ourselves until they could in spring. We have a few hockey sticks laying around house.

While we were fixing the mailbox, Zoe decided she wanted to be in the picture too. She ran outside, mind you in below freezing weather, in just a t-shirt and shoes. Crazy kid, it's a wonder my girls aren't sick more.
