Here's some pictures from our day at the zoo.  We met my friend Jackie and her daughter Callie, and we lucked out with the weather.  It was BEAUTIFUL!!

Spring Retreat

Also...my papaw, Richard Eakins, had a heart attack on Friday.  He's in the hospital and supposed to have another surgery today.  Please keep him in your prayers.

The life of 2 year olds...

The kids are napping, so I thought I'd update my blog with some pictures.  We're keeping busy with preschool (our program is just a couple of weeks away) and of-course we've been enjoying this springy weather.  We colored yesterday.  Please ignore our messy kitchen in the background.

We also went on a walk and then ran around our backyard.

Granbury

Yesterday we made a quick trip to Granbury.  Even though it was raining, we enjoyed visiting Grandma Billie and Papaw.  Maybe next time it'll be nice enough to get the boat out on the lake.  We're ready for the warmer weather!

Happy Valentine's Day!

We started our Valentine's Day celebrations on Sunday with some gifts from the grandparents.  Then we had our party at school today.  We had yummy snacks, fun crafts, and Daddy even surprised us with a visit!

Paradise Pond

This morning we got to take the kids to a birthday party in Grapevine at a really cool place called Paradise Pond.  It's in the old auditorium at the First Baptist Church, which brought back memories because that's where I used to have my piano recitals growing up.  Anyway, Bethany and Zachary had a really good time.  Her favorite thing was riding on these cars...like a mini roller coaster.

Let's Jump

I decided to take the kids to a jump place in Keller this morning.  They needed to run off some energy, and I needed to get out of the house.  Zachary is all about the slide!  Bethany likes to jump and land on her bottom.  They had fun :)

P Day

Today was "P Day" at school, so we got to wear our pajamas, have pancakes for snack, and eat pizza for lunch.  I think the kids had fun, and thank goodness the weather was nice enough to play outside.  They needed to run off all of their energy!
