Trick or Treat

This year I didn't have any cute princesses. Talli wanted to be a zombie but the outfit turned out to be to itchy and didn't fit right (darn store bought costumes anyway) so she opted for the pirate. She had to have her hair sprayed black and carry the sword around with her all night. Isaah was the werewolf of course. Madi knew about 2-3 months before hand that she wanted to be a mummy. Paige had a hard time deciding between a witch and a kitty, but as you can tell the witch won out. She had to have black lipstick and purple and black hair. The fun thing is that I made all of these costumes. Madi was a witch 2 years ago and then a pirate. They had tons of fun going trick or treating and even more fun eating the candy.

9 little Jack-o-Lanterns

Here are our cute jack-o-lanterns we carved this year. We had lots of fun doing this, each one of the kiddos got to do 2 pumpkins. (one was missing from the picture because it was rotten inside but Isaah still carved it and it was attracting flies like crazy). The sad thing is the next morning someone came by and smashed 2 of the pumpkins onto our driveway and road. The kids were troopers about it though.

These are my scarey girls at lagoons frightmares. They loved all the fun halloween stuff they had there. Isaah especially loved the haunted houses.

Football

Isaah is finally playing tackle football. He loves it. I was really surprise because they have been practicing in about 107 degree weather and I thought for sure he would hate it after the first week. He loves to play defense he is playing corner right now and is awesome at it. Isaah is one who helps get this guy down. He has the long black socks on, the second one in on the left.

This is what happens when you take a boy who grew up in the rain in Southern Texas and plant him in the desert. It rained all day yesterday and he was doing this the minute the bell rang to let school out until it stopped raining. He has told me numerous times how much he misses the rain storms in TX. If you could only see the smile on his face...
