Memorial Weekend

We spent our holiday weekend swimming in the pool. The kids had different friends over everyday so it made it even more fun for them. Then ended the evening watching some movies. What a fun relaxing weekend. Saturday evening we went up and practiced our shooting skills. Everyone had to have a turn.

Water Day

The room mom who was in charge of water day is moving before school gets out and I was asked to take over Kindergarteners Water day. They have 3 slipnslides already. I am looking for suggestions. Help!

Shoes

Isaah has gone through 4 pairs of tennis shoes this school year. They all turn out like these. We started out with shoes from Target and Walmart, but those only lasted about a 1 1/2 months, so we moved on up to other brands. This one lasting the longest. At least I know he is enjoying his recesses here. (Hopefully this last pair will make it through the last 2 weeks of school.)

Lake

We went to the lake (Lake Mead) this Saturday. I forgot to take my camera but I thought I would talk alittle about it. It was our first time out on the tube and water toys this year. The kids rode the tube and rode the tube and wanted to ride more. I think they would have rode it non stop if we would have let them. I got my old friend the Kneeboard out and loved it. But boy am I sore. I used muscles I forgot I had. The water had just a little chill at first and then it was fine. Chad wakeboarded all over. It is such a change from Lake Conroe. It was a Saturday and we didn't have to dodge boats all over. The kids didn't try to ski, I told Chad they needed to get used to it again before they attempt it. So it is official, boating season has begun!

Princess Tippy

This is our newest addition. The kids have been wanting a pet for a long time, we deciede we do a cat since they are less needy. Everyone wants to call it something different, I've combined two of them and decieded on Princess Tippy since it is a girl and the bottom of her paws look like they have been dipped in paint. She is a cutie. She curled up on me today and took a little nap. We just got her today and she is trying to get used to the craziness of our house.

No Trainers!

Last night Paige and Talli wanted to ride their bikes without training wheels. So off they went and they both did it on their first time. They now need work on starting out by themselves. Isaah kept telling Paige just peddle really fast, so the first time Paige took off like crazy and Chad couldn't keep up with her and we were yelling at her to slow down so he could catch up. Talli kept wanting to have a turn and really enjoyed it. I can't believe it, they really are growing up sooo fast. Paige is in her pink PJ's and Talli is in the Blue PJ's. Fishin in Mead

Saturday afternoon we took the kids fishing to Lake Mead. The water is still a little chilly for my liking to be wakeboarding. We usually don't have much luck when it comes to fishing but we actually caught some. Chad started us off with the biggest stripper and then we caught about 5 smaller ones after that. The kids didn't want to leave but it was getting dark. Isaah even said he had fun, that's what it's all about in the end.
