The Snowman

After the majority of us got done sledding Chad and the girls started working on a snowman. The twins could not have been happier. It took Shawn and Chad to lift his belly up.
He was a three armed snowman for awhile. I think Madi named it Rosabella. That is her new favorite name.

The twins loved their snowman. They patted that snowman down forever, just smoothing out the snow.

New Friends

The kids made some new friends while we were in Idaho over Christmas. Two guinea pigs, Bobo and the other Buddy. My neices Jordan and Jazmyn got them for christmas and my kids loved them. The guinea pigs even have a little harness and leash if you want to take them for a walk. My kids thought they were pretty neat and of course want one or two of their own.

This first one is pretty funny, Isaah wanted me to film his crashes. But as you can tell not this one. I couldn't resist putting it up. He was a crazy daredevil who couldn't get enough of it.

Sledding

After we fed cows we went up a little canyon and made our own sledding hill. The kids had so much fun. The twins had to have alittle help going up the hill. Shawn made his own snowboarding trail also. We stayed and had fun for awhile until more people started to join in our fun and we decided to head home for dinner. There are a lot, we had fun and the kids just had so many cute faces to choose from

Feeding Cows

When we were in Ut for Christmas break we went to help Shawn and my cousin JaNae feed cows. I remember doing this as a child, hoping I didn't run over any calves. Luckily there were only a few out there right now because I had a few different drivers. Chad and Isaah chose to walk, I think they were hoping to shoot something. Madi tried to drive but I think the cows coming right towards her scared her. One of the twins ended up being the driver and then only I was left, as the girls all went out to the back of the truck as the hay pile was dwindling. The kids had alot of fun. They always like to see Shawn's Texas Longhorn Rose. Jody was with us and while she was in the cab of the truck she had to honk the horn at every cow that stopped in front of the truck. She thought we were going to run them over and at the same time Shawn would yell "They'll move". I being the driver had to listen to this about 15 (seriously) times. It was fun though.

Snow Fun

While we were in UT over Christmas we decided to have some fun in the snow. We played for two days in the snow. The kids loved every bit of it. They all love being in the snow and do not get tired of it easily. Paige would be the quickest to come in if their was one, but really they start early in the morning and will go for quite a while before wanting in. These are some pictures of us playing in my parents field. Everyone dressed up warm and enjoyed some fun. Jody has different pictures on her blog, it even includes an exciting story about how I was clothslined by Isaah. OUCH! By the way if you are wondering which Twin is which, Talli has a blue hat on and Paige pink.

Christmas Morning

Christmas morning came bright and early at our house. Isaah woke up at about 3:30 after staying up until about 11:15pm. At 4:30 everyone else was out in the living room ready to open presents. The kids loved all of their presents and couldn't wait to start using them.



Madi was driving her remote control car around in circles and it was chasing her. It was pretty funny!
This was Chad sleeping at about 9 am. I think we all felt this way.

Gingerbread House

I thought I had almost gotten away this year without making the gingerbread house. About a week before Christmas the kids kept reminding me. With left over candy from Madi's class party and what I had around the house these are the creations they came up with. Due to such great imaginations I knew I had to have two different ones. Which worked out great.
