Madi thinks she is famous. Her picture was in the local newspaper for a kids camp that her and Isaah went to. Here is the link for the article and picture.

Hurrican Ike
Since Hurricane Ike hit I have been on the computer and on the TV (I love Direct TV) tracking and watching the aftermath of Ike. No, I am not crazy. After first being blessed that we moved from there a few short months ago, my dear friend Dawn is done there experiencing it first hand. Her hubby is out of the country for work and she is be the brave woman and taking care of her 3 kiddos. We/she live about 35 miles north of Houston. Most of the big storms that come to Galeveston we get a tiny aftermath. But Ike was different. I am just floored by the damage that hit not only Galevston but the area around my old home. Since they have no power and sparsly working phone lines I have been texting her and keeping her up todate on whats going on. Hopefully I am also giving her some moral support to keep her going until her husband arrives home today. I have been worried about all my friends that are still down there. So far they have all come out without much damage to themselves or their homes. For all you down there I miss you and our prayers have been with you and I hope you get the power on soon. I know you miss the Airconditioning!!

Scentsy
Come one, Come all and Party Wickless with me. I am now a Scentsy consultant. For those of you who have not heard of Scentsy it is a great product. How many of you like the smell of candles in your home, but often worry about the dangers they carry or the black residue they leave behind on the walls and ceiling? Well Scentsy has taken care of that. They do not have wicks, and do not use fire. They have a warmer that uses a light bulb that heats the wax and produces the most wonderful smells such as warm apple pie, or blueberry cheesecake that you can use over and over. They have so many warmers and scents to choose from. They also have room sprays and car fresheners. Are you excited yet? Since I have the opportunity to travel I am willing to travel and put on a party for you! There are great incentives to hosting a party or even more to become a consultant. Just click my link to my website below and you can veiw on line what we have to offer or to schedule a party.

Preschool

Well my babies have grown up... well in a sense anyway. They started Preschool on Tuesday. They were so excited and counting down the days. They go for 2 whole hours, 2 days a week. They were all equiped with their backpacks and their cute smiles. Paige was just a little nervous. She wanted me to stay for a little bit. That didn't last long, both Talli and Paige took off to the toys and only looked back once.
When I picked them up Talli didn't say much. I asked Paige what they did her reply was "we sang songs, read books and played, that was all". After asking them if they liked it they told me "No, it was boring". I was a little worried. After driving a few minutes and arriving at the post office I asked again if they had fun, they told me no. I said are you guys teasing me? I then asked Talli what her favorite part was, "I liked going camping and there was a bear". Oh, boy I didn't expect that one. "So you pretended to go camping" I asked. Talli and Paige came to life and told me all about it, a bear with a fluffy white tail and they pretended to have binoculars. It was so cute and just what I wanted to hear.
They did like school, Hooray! They want to go back! Just what mom wanted to hear. By the way Talli informed me she wasn't have her picture taken before school, doesn't she look cute for not wanting her picture taken.

Ballet

The girls started ballet a few days ago from Miss Lauren. The twins were very excited and Madi said she would try it though we didn't know if she would like it, sometimes she can be a little picky. The twins class is first and then Madi's which they all loved it and Madi actually said she wants to go back next week. Yahoo! I love the twins in their cute pink outfits. Before dance they twirled and twirled in the living room. Madi didn't want the traditional dance outfit. It is actually a dress but it is pretty cute for dance and fits her personality to a tee. Luckily Miss Laurens only requirement for attire is pink ballet shoes, they are free to express themselves in their outfits.
They love it!
Don't they look adorable!
We always have time to give mom a smile
It takes alot of concentration! Look at that form.

New Look
With Fall right around the corner I thought I would give my blog alittle revamping. The weather here has actually cooled down a few degrees and is manageable and even pleasant. The big thing is there are no mesquitos here!!! Probably because all of the bats eat them. Yes, there are tons of bats, they grace us with their presence about sunset and they are pretty fun to watch. Here is the big news of the day we are finally closing on the swimming pool house on Monday. Though our move over there will take a little time (I want to paint bedrooms before we move furniture in). We are all very excited!

1st Tooth
Madi finally lost her 1st tooth. Saturday afternoon I came home and she was in the bathroom telling me to come look. Well her tooth was basically laying flat the wrong way. I told her to get a napkin and twist it. She did and out it popped. She was so excited and told me it didn't even hurt. She misplaced it a few times before bedtime. Though she was very concerned about how the toothfairy would get her toothout of the plastic bag it was in. Luckily the toothfairy was able to and left her $1 and she was so excited!
