Isaah attended his first Scout Day Camp. He went Monday thru Thursday from 8-1:30. He loved it, and came back filthy everyday. I was able to go up and be one of his leaders on Monday, so I got an inside look at what they did. Here are some things he was able to do: Archery, BBguns, woodworking, leatherworking, cubgrub, knots, firstaid, wristrockets (slingshots), nature, fishing, indian, Weather Safety and music. Isaah's three favorites where: slingshots, bbguns, and woodworking, . There was a pirate ship at the pond with tons of bluegill fish around it. Each den had to make their own flag and hats. Our ward was combined with another ward and had 10 boys all together in their group. Isaah like everything about camp and is excited about going to scout next year where ever we live. (Isaah helped me step by step on this blog!)

Packing

I have been packing away lately, or at least attempting to. But I feel like we are going to be ready for next week when the moving trucks come. As of yet we don't know where we are going to be living, though it is looking brighter and we have some very good prospects! You're thinking to yourself Chad and Brandi have to be crazy to be packing up and moving their 4 kids across the country but don't know where they are going to live. Yeah, we are a little fly by the seat, last minuters. Where is the fun in planning:) Realistically we are trying to find something and will keep you all updated!

Car Wash
My van has been really dirty and I decieded to take a quick trip to the carwash. Since it is so hot here and I was short on time I went thru the automatic carwash. I told the girls we were going to go thru the cool car wash. They were very sceptical, Madi told me there isn't a cool car wash. I proved them wrong this is what they had to say about it: Talli "the washer was pretty cool", Paige "that was amazing", Madi "that was so fun!, can we do it again?" Madi also wants to take Isaah back tomorrow so he can see it. I had no idea they would like it so much!(ps my van looks good too!)

Lake
We have taken a few trips to the lake and I thought I would put a few pictures up. Madi's favorite thing at the lake is throwing sticks for our water loving dog Rusty. Those two have quite the bond, it is fun to see her carrying on a conversation with the dog. Chad's favorite is wakeboarding, though he is getting good at the slolam ski. Isaah likes to find shells and other treasures at the island. Paige and Talli are loving the island, especially after swim lessons they are more confident than ever to swim in the water. The other day Madi waterskied for us, just so she could get a Hannah Montana wig. The twins enjoy riding the tube also. Isaah is working on gettin his nerve up to be brave again this season. It takes him a little bit each season, than he is an awesome tube rider! I love my kneeboarding, I am also content to lounge on the boat and be the driver for tube riding. Hope you enjoy and we always love visitors, especially during boating season!

Blue Berries
We had our 2nd annual blueberry picking day on wednesday. We had first planned on MOnday but do to sick kids we had to reschedule. The kids were so disappointed that we weren't going on Monday, they woke up and were ready to go, but they survived. We left the house at 7am so we wouldn't roast while picking the berries. Dawn came with us and the kids had fun for a while and then they were ready to go. Madi was hot about 10 minutes after we got there. We came home with about 7 pounds of blueberries to enjoy. Yes, I am hauling the frozen berries with me. at $1.50 a pound it is a steal of a deal! The twins picking berries

Career Day
Chad went to school for Career day. He was a little nervous but did a great job! The best question the kids asked was "do you ever hit a bird, and what happens when you do and does blood go everywhere?"

Talli & Paige
I have to give a little update on the twins. They had a Freunelectomy, basically they were tongue tied and they had it cut. Really, they had it cut by acool lazor. No bleeding and hardly no pain. Hopefully this will improve their speech, though we have heard that twins have their own language which they do. It is hilarious to hear them. I love to eavesdrop on them playing and listing in on what they say to each other. They were waiting for their brownies and I didn't hear Paige say brownie but Talli turns to her and says "No Paige, like this... BR ow nee, now you say it", and she did and Talli says "yeah!" So with time they should be able to stick their tongues out farther and they hope to touch their tongue to their nose like mom.

School's Out
School finally came to an end here on the 5th of June. It was kinda bittersweet. I have really enjoyed this school year with the kids. I was Madi's room mom and Isaah's assistant room mom. Life was a little busy at times but I realy loved it and getting to know the kids. I was up there every Friday and then some in days inbetween. I cried the last day of school when I checked the kids out, just knowing how much I was going to miss it there. The kids didn't quite know why I was crying and thought it a little weird but oh well. So Isaah is an official 3rd grader now (man I feel old). Madi passed kindergarten but we have decieded to have her do it again to give her a little more self confidence and so she is not the youngest in her class. She is actually excited about it because she will only have to go 1/2 day. She thought a full day was to long. This is Isaah's award for A-B honor role the whole year. He received only two b's the whole year and they were one point away from being an A. Way to go Isaah!
This is Madi's kindergarten completion award and her always smiling award! Good Job Madi!
The twins accompained me many times to the school and loved it! Many of the kids and other teachers could tell them apart. They are sitting on the rug during awards for Madi.

Twin Love
On the boat
So the twins have been so cute lately. Today I caught Talli pushing Paige on the swing. It was so cute. I just was laughing, thinking I wish I could have been outside to hear the conversation that started it. I am constantly stopping what I am doing to listen to those two interact, some of the funny things they do and say to each other. They really are best friends though sometimes Paige likes to push Talli's buttons. I was having a conversation about church today and what they did, it was so fun to see how excited they are about learning and having friends. I really love this age, the girls seem to always have a smile on their cute little faces for some reason or another.
They just finished their first class of swim lessons. They did awesome! They passed level one and are on their way to be pretty great swimmers. Everytime Paige would do something she would come out of the water with a huge grin. Talli tried to pull the "I have to go to the bathroom trick", luckily I learned it with Madi, so I made her stay in and do it. After the 2nd day she loved going under and getting the balls, it was her favorite part.

1st Pinewood Derby
Issah and His Derby Car
The big day was finally here, Isaah's first Pinewood derby. Chad and Isaah had been working hard on Isaah's car. Both really enjoying it, so this was a big day for them. In his first race Isaah won, so he went on to the next, which he lost, but he still had another chance, the other car beat him by just a hair. They races were fun to watch, and after the officall racing the kids got to race each other unoffically, which Isaah loved because he won alot of them. He was really excited that he recieved a medal for being voted fastest looking car.
