Challenge #89 Midway: ANYTHING GOES CHRISTMAS with the Optional Twist…PLAIDS

Welcome back crafters! It is the 15th of the month and that means it is time for the midway of our current challenge. I hope that you and your families all continue to stay well in the various regions that you reside.

Right now, as we are halfway through the month of June, it is time to see what the Merry Maidens have been up to! Clicking on the DT names will take you to the individual blogs where you can check out the details for all these wonderful cards. Christine is joining us for the midway this month.

So if you haven't entered already, what are you waiting for? It is time to link up your Christmas and other holiday cards for June. Below you will find a refresher of the details for this challenge.

Please remember that this is a CARDS ONLY link up. While we've had some lovely tag entries, ornaments and other creative projects in the past, we've sadly had to disqualify them.

Challenge #89

  ANYTHING GOES with the

Optional Twist: PLAIDS

Our theme, as always, is Anything Goes Christmas (or in celebration of other December holidays). If you want to challenge yourself, you can always follow our optional twist of: Use PLAID somewhere in your design. You could use a plaid paper on your card or you could paper piece part of your image with a plaid design.

Keep in mind though, that you don't need to follow the twist to link up your cards and earn a free paper each month or for a chance to win your choice of TWO Christmas or Winter themed mini kits of digital papers from Décosse's Dynamite Doodles. Following the twist is simply for fun.

Here is a preview of June's paper for those adding TWO cards to this month's link up:

If you are new to this unique challenge, you can find out the impetus behind why I started it under the 'Introductions' tab. As this is a different kind of link up where we have both an Anything Goes Christmas or other December Holiday option AND an optional twist to follow, be sure to read all the details and rules you need to know in order to participate, by checking out the 'Challenge Details' tab (both tabs located at the top of the blog). I have provided a summary of the most important rules in the right sidebar.

You can find the link up for
Challenge #89 by clicking HERE.

Don't Forget, if everything goes according to plan...

I'll hopefully be publishing an outstanding winner announcement sometime in the next two weeks. Then, please join us on July 1st when we'll be back with our newest link up! Other special posts may be published throughout the month. Be sure to sign up to have our posts delivered by email or follow us through Bloglovin' so you don't miss a thing!

Challenge #55 Winner Announcement

Hello to all our Christmas crafting friends! I'm popping in to announce the winners and our top three Stocking Stuffers from Challenge #55. Sorry I'm running a bit late with the post. It seems things are piling up again on me but hopefully I won't get too far behind!

We had 78 entries in our July challenge--double the numbers we had the month previously which is just awesome! I have a sneaking suspicion it is because a lot of challenges generally have a 'Christmas in July' theme but I can't say for certain. I guess it will be clearer when we see next month's numbers. 😃

Now it is time to get on with the finding out who our winners are. Are you one of those lucky peeps?! Let's find out!

Lin, you are the winner of a $10.00 gift voucher to the Ike's Art store, our guest sponsor for July (chosen by random.org based on all eligible entries).

Lin, please send an email to the_12_moc_linkup {at} outlook {dot} com (or click HERE to bring the address up in your email program), with the subject, "12MoC Challenge #55 WINNER" to make arrangements to receive your prize. Please note that it may take me a while to get back to you. Thank you for your patience. In the interim, please grab a copy of the winner badge below for your blog.

Next, it is time to get on with showcasing the top three. With so many wonderful entries to choose from, it is always such a difficult task for the design team. For Challenge #55, Donna, Suze and Helen N., are presenting their favourite cards. So, without further ado, here are the Stocking Stuffers for July:

Congrats to our top three Stocking Stuffers! Nicolette, Angela and Valentyna, please grab a copy of the badge below for your blog.

Everyone who links up two cards each month is eligible to receive a free digital paper. Papers from last month have now been sent out. If you were expecting one but haven't received it yet, please leave me a comment and I'll look into it for you.

The individuals who linked up a minimum of two cards each during the month of JULY qualifying them to receive the digital paper from that month, will receive the Plaid 2 paper which received the majority of the votes. I have included the watermark of it, below...

To all of you who linked up during July, thanks ever so much! We are so happy to have all of you with us and hope that you'll continue to link up your holiday cards as you continue your stash for 2019!!! Papers will be sent to the email address that qualifying participants used when they added their cards to the Link Up, as soon as I can manage; hopefully some time this coming week!

As always, we are going to have a random draw from all the entries and give out a set of six digital papers to one lucky individual. The papers are all made so why not have an extra prize! Here is the watermark for the full set...

The winner of the
Multi Coloured Plaids Mini Kit
from Challenge #55 is
(chosen by miniwebtool.com based on all eligible entries)

Angela, please send an email to the_12_moc_linkup {at} outlook {dot} com (or click HERE to bring the address up in your email program), with the subject, "12MoC Challenge #55 PAPER KIT WINNER" to make arrangements to receive your prize.

Well folks, that is it for today. While you are here, please be sure to check out the details for our current challenge going on now (if you haven't already), with the Optional Twist this month of "Sparkle, Glitter & Bling". There is just under two weeks to go and you can find out all the details along with the link up, by clicking HERE. Please join us again on September 1st when we'll be back with a new challenge!

Until next time,

Challenge #55 Midway: Opt. Twist…Plaids

Welcome back folks! It is the 15th of the month and time for our midway.

As we are halfway through the month of July, it is time to see what the Merry Maidens have been up to with their fun images from Ike's Art, our guest sponsor this month!

Clicking on the DT names will take you to the individual blogs where you can check out the details for all these wonderful cards. Helen wasn't able to join us during the start so she is here for the midway. If you are interested in purchasing the image featured in a particular card, you can click on the link indicated below the creation to head to the page in the Ike's Art store where it can be found.

Challenge #55

Optional Twist: Plaids

If you want the chance to win this month's featured paper pack, use PLAID papers prominently in your card design. While you can also use other types of papers for accent pieces, make sure that plaid features in a big way.

Keep in mind though, that you don't need to follow the twist to link up your cards and earn a free paper each month or for a chance to win a $10.00 gift voucher to the Ike's Art store. You simply need to follow the twist if you'd like a chance to win this month's featured digital paper pack, Multi-Coloured Plaids.

If you would like a say in determining which digital paper will be offered to those who link up a minimum of two cards this month, be sure to vote in our poll. Click HERE to head there now.
